Patrick Hyland create an environmentally friendly mobile phone concept with the name of E-Cu (E for environment, Cu for copper). This phone is implemented by Nokia as Nokia E-Cu. Nokia E-Cu uses kinetic energy, which allows the phone to charge via body heat, so it does not require charging from any power source. This phone has thermogenerator and integrated in it, which convert heat energy into electrical potential energy.
The back of Nokia E-cu body is surrounded by copper, with engraved heatsink using a pattern such as dry land because of the heat effect on the natural environment. This phone can be charged by placing it on any heat sources such as radiators, even in the pocket.

Until now, Nokia E-cu still a concept. But the idea of the concept of the Nokia E-cu is very brilliant, so we expect this gadget can be immediately released.
