Sunda Strait Bridge - Jembatan Selat Sunda. Sunda Strait Bridge is one of the major projects making a bridge, which crossed the Sunda Strait, as a liaison between the island of Java to Sumatra. This project was initiated in 1960, and now the project will form part of Asian Highway Network (Trans Asian Highway and Trans Asian Railway). Funds for Sunda Strait Bridge (JSS) construction projects, planned to come from the financing consortium, and it is estimated will cost about 10 billion U.S. dollars, or 100 trillion rupiah.
