Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati
Sri Mulyani Indrawati was born in Tanjungkarang Lampung, August 26, 1962. He is an observer in the Indonesian economy. Sri Mulyani appointed as Head of the Economic and Social Institute, Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia (UI LPEM) since June 1998. He then entrusted by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has served as Minister of State for National Development Planning, or Head of Bappenas. On December 5, 2005 when President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono announced a revamp ("reshuffle") cabinet, Sri Mulyani moved to replace Finance Minister Jusuf Anwar.
Prior to his appointment as Minister of National Development Planning / Head of Bappenas United Indonesia Cabinet, Sri Mulyani moved to Atlanta, Georgia, United States, as a consultant at the agency since August 2001 in order to strengthen institutional cooperation in the region, with the S-2 provides scholarships for university faculty in the area. There he often gave suggestions and advice on how to design the S-2 program for university education in the region as well as other USAID programs in Indonesia, especially in the economic field. In addition, he also taught about the Indonesian economy and the macro economy in the Georgia University, and a lot of research, and writing books.

In early October 2002, Sri Mulyani was elected as Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), representing 12 countries in Southeast Asia (South East Asia / SEA Group). Since 1 November 2002, he represented the 12 member countries of the SEA Group in the IMF. His job as an executive director associated with decision making. To determine the various programs and decisions to the IMF. So he not only represents the interests of Indonesia, but represents the interests of member countries in the IMF institutions and relevant international forums.
