Muslims around the world will soon celebrate the feast of Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Adha in Indonesia often called Hari Raya Haji, which in Arabic عيد الأضحى. Eid al-adha is an important Islamic holiday that commemorates an event when Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who are willing to sacrifice his son Ishmael to God, but then replaced with sheep.
On this holiday, Muslims gather in the morning and perform Eid prayers together in the field, such as when they celebrate Idul Fitri. After praying together, Muslims slaughter sacrificial animals, to commemorate God's command to Prophet Ibrahim who slaughtered sheep as a substitute for his son.
